Candidates should possess a strong academic record (≥70% marks or ≥7.5 CGPA) and a keen interest in gaining practical exposure in high energy materials research within a prestigious defence organization.

Students who have previously completed a paid internship in any other DRDO laboratory are not eligible to apply. Individuals seeking a guarantee of permanent employment post-internship should note that HEMRL has no obligation to offer employment. Applicants unable to commit to the minimum 15 working days per month for the 6-month duration, or those not in their final year of study, should not consider this opportunity.
