ANRF Junior Research Fellow

This role is ideal for highly motivated M.Tech. graduates (or those awaiting results) in Geotechnical Engineering, Earthquake Engineering, Soil Dynamics, or Earth Sciences, especially those with a strong academic record (GATE/NET qualified) and a B.Tech. in Civil Engineering/Earth Sciences. Candidates with a keen interest in advanced numerical modelling (FLAC, Python, PLAXIS) and a focus on geomechanical behavior related to gas hydrate dissociation under climate change will thrive in this project-based research environment.

Candidates without an M.Tech. (or equivalent specialization) and GATE/NET qualification will not be considered. Individuals seeking a permanent government position or an immediate, high-salary role may find this temporary (3-year) project-based fellowship, with its specific research focus, unsuitable.
