Assistant General Manager & Deputy Manager

• Assistant General Manager (Engineering):
  • Essential: Degree in Mechanical or Naval Architecture or Production Engineering or Marine Engineering with minimum 60% marks from a recognized University.
  • Desirable: Proficiency in Computer Applications like AutoCAD, SAP, MS Project, MS Office etc.
• Deputy Manager (Mechanical):
  • Essential: Degree in Mechanical or Marine or Naval Architecture Engineering from a recognized University OR Minimum three-year Diploma in Mechanical or Marine or Shipbuilding Engineering from a State Board of Technical Education.
  • Desirable: Proficiency in Computer Applications like AutoCAD, SAP, MS Project, MS Office etc., and experience working in an ERP/SAP/AutoCAD/computerized environment.

All qualifications must be from a University/Institute/Examination Board recognized by AICTE/appropriate statutory authority/State/Central Government.

• Upper age limit for Assistant General Manager: Not exceeding 50 years as on 30 June 2026 (applicants born on or after 01 July 1976).
• Upper age limit for Deputy Manager: Not exceeding 35 years as on 30 June 2026 (applicants born on or after 01 July 1991).
• Relaxations:
  • OBC (Non-Creamy Layer): +3 years
  • SC candidates: +5 years (for posts reserved for them)
  • Ex-servicemen: +10 years for Deputy Manager, +5 years for Assistant General Manager.
• Maximum age limit after all relaxations: 45 years for Deputy Manager, 55 years for Assistant General Manager.

The application process consists of two phases: One-time Registration and Submission of application against the applicable posts. Applicants should not submit more than one application, and an application once submitted is final.

Key steps and notes:

• Read the User Manual and FAQ available on the website before filling the online application.
• Complete One-time Registration in the SAP Online portal.
• Submit the application against the posts.
• Ensure all necessary certificates (age, educational qualification, experience, caste, etc.) and a recent passport-size color photograph are uploaded in the SAP online application portal. Failure to upload documents will lead to rejection.
• Ensure all entries in the online application are correct. Changes after final submission will not be considered.
• Incomplete, withdrawn, or draft applications will not be considered.
• After successful submission, the application status should show as "In process".
• Applicants are advised to apply well in advance of the deadline (30 June 2026) to avoid website traffic issues.
• Do not send application printouts, certificates, or application fees by post.
• Shortlisted candidates will be informed via e-mail and CSL/UCSL websites; call letters will not be sent by post.
