Eligibility Criteria
Educational Qualification
- Master's degree in any discipline with at least 55% marks or its equivalent Grade 'B' in the UGC 7-point scale from a recognized University/Institute.
Age Limit Details
The upper age limit is relaxable for:
- Up to 50 years for persons with a minimum of three years' service/deployment at IIT Mandi (contract/outsourced/adhoc/temporary/projects) who are educationally qualified.
- 5 years for SC/ST candidates (if the post is reserved for the category).
- 3 years for OBC (NCL) candidates (if the post is reserved for the category).
- As per rules for PwD candidates & Ex-servicemen.
- Up to a maximum of 50 years for regular IIT employees who are educationally qualified.
Salary & Pay Scale
The Assistant Registrar position is offered at Pay Level-10.

- Applicants must upload scanned copies of certificates for essential qualification, experience, pay drawn details, date of birth, disability, and caste certificates (latest OBC non-creamy layer). Original certificates must be produced during the selection process and at the time of joining.
- Candidates applying for more than one position must submit a separate application for each post with self-attested copies of required certificates and testimonials, along with the prescribed fee.
- Applicants currently employed with Government, Semi-Government, Autonomous Bodies, PSUs, etc., must route their applications through the proper channel and submit a ‘No Objection Certificate’ at the time of application.
