This role is ideal for experienced professionals between 35 and 62 years of age, holding a degree in specialized fields such as child psychology, social work, law, or human development. Candidates must have a proven track record of at least seven years of active involvement in child-centric welfare, health, or education activities. Those with a postgraduate degree will be given preference, demonstrating a deeper commitment to the field. The role suits individuals who are passionate about child rights and welfare, capable of working on a per-sitting basis, and are resident in the specific district where a vacancy exists.

Individuals below 35 or above 62 years of age, or those lacking the mandatory seven years of experience in relevant child welfare activities, should not apply. The positions are not suitable for candidates who have a past record of human/child rights violations, convictions involving moral turpitude, or have been dismissed from government service. Furthermore, persons associated with organizations receiving foreign contributions, or those with conflicts of interest in NGOs working on the Act, are ineligible. The per-sitting remuneration structure might not appeal to those seeking a full-time, fixed-salary employment.
