This role is ideally suited for highly experienced museum professionals who have recently retired from senior positions (Pay Matrix Level-14 or equivalent) within Central/State Government, Autonomous Bodies, or PSUs. Candidates with a First Class Master's (M.Sc) or Bachelor's (B.E./B.Tech) degree in Computer Science, Mechanical, or Electronics, coupled with at least 20 years of relevant work experience in museum management, operations, and curatorial services, would be an excellent fit. The role requires expertise in generating new activities and programmes, monitoring, and guiding museum visits.

Individuals who do not possess a minimum of 20 years of relevant post-qualification experience, or those without a First Class M.Sc/B.E./B.Tech degree in the specified fields, should not apply. The upper age limit of 63 years as of the application deadline is strict. Candidates not retired from government, autonomous bodies, or PSUs, or those seeking a permanent position, should also look elsewhere as this is a contractual engagement.
