This role is ideally suited for highly experienced engineering professionals with a B.E./B.Tech degree in Mechanical, Electrical, HVAC, Biosafety Engineering, or related fields, possessing a minimum of 8 years of post-qualification experience. It also welcomes retired government employees who previously held Pay Level 10 or above positions with at least 10 years of specialized experience. Candidates should have a strong background in the design, commissioning, validation, operation, or maintenance of BSL-3/BSL-4 containment facilities, demonstrating a commitment to public health infrastructure.

Individuals seeking a permanent government position should not apply, as this is a purely contractual and temporary role, co-terminable with the project. Candidates lacking specific experience in high-containment laboratory systems (BSL-3/BSL-4) or the required engineering specializations will not be suitable. Those whose age exceeds 60 years as of the application deadline are also ineligible.
