The pay scale for both posts is as follows:

The examination will consist of two phases: a Preliminary Examination and a Main Examination. However, if the number of applicants is less than 50,000, the Preliminary Examination may not be conducted.

• Mode: Objective type with multiple-choice questions.
• Marking: 3 marks for each correct answer, 1 mark deduction for each incorrect answer.

The Main Examination will comprise three papers, each with a duration of 2 hours.

• Note: This paper is qualifying in nature. Candidates must score a minimum of 30% combined marks to be eligible for evaluation of Paper 2 and Paper 3. Marks from this paper will not be included in the merit list.

• Total Questions: 100
• Subjects: Candidates can choose one language from Hindi, English, Urdu, Santali, Bangla, Mundari (Munda), Ho, Khariya, Kurukh (Oraon), Kurmali, Khortha, Nagpuri, Panchpargania, Odia, or Sanskrit.
• Note: A minimum of 30% marks is mandatory in this paper.

  • Technical / Specific Subject (related to post): 100 Questions
  • General Studies: 20 Questions
  • General Mathematics: 20 Questions
  • General Science: 10 Questions
• Note: A minimum of 30% marks is mandatory in the Technical/Specific Subject section.

Detailed syllabi for Technical/Specific subjects (Dairy Engineering, Dairy Microbiology, Dairy Technology, Dairy Chemistry, Dairy Business Management, etc.) and optional regional/tribal languages (Santali, Khariya, Odia, Panchpargania, Nagpuri, Kurmali, Khortha, Ho, Mundari, Hindi, English, Sanskrit) are provided in the appendix of the notification.

A merit list will be prepared based on the marks obtained in the Main Examination (Paper 2 and Paper 3). The minimum qualifying marks for inclusion in the merit list are: Unreserved/EWS - 40%, ST/SC/Women - 32%, EBC-I - 34%, BC-II - 36.5%, Primitive Tribes - 30%.

Candidates must apply online through the official website of the Jharkhand Staff Selection Commission (JSSC).

2. Click on "Online Application for JTGLCCE-2026" and complete the registration process.
3. Upon successful registration, you will receive a registration number and password on your registered mobile number and email ID. Keep these credentials secure for future logins.
4. Log in using your registration number and password to fill in your detailed information.
5. Upload scanned copies of your recent passport-sized photograph, full signature, and all other required essential documents. Ensure all details match your Matric/10th certificate.
6. Proceed to pay the application fee online.
7. After successful payment, upload your scanned photograph and signature.
8. Review your application form thoroughly. If satisfied, submit the application and take a printout for future reference.
9. A correction window will be available from 2026-07-05 to 2026-07-10 for rectifying any errors in the online application form, excluding Name, Date of Birth, Email ID, and Mobile Number.

• For Scheduled Tribe (ST) / Scheduled Caste (SC) candidates of Jharkhand State: Rs. 50/-
• For Persons with Disabilities (PwD) with 40% or more disability: Fee exemption applicable.
• The examination fee is non-refundable.
