This role is ideally suited for a highly accomplished and experienced R&D professional with a Ph.D. in Natural Sciences or a Master's (preferably Ph.D.) in Engineering/Health/Medical Sciences. Candidates must possess at least 16 years of leadership experience in translational research within scientific institutions, coupled with a strong track record of publications, patents, and a creative, innovative mindset. A proven ability to manage multidisciplinary R&D teams and foster high-class research is essential.

Individuals lacking substantial (minimum 16 years) post-qualification R&D and leadership experience should not apply. Those without the specified Ph.D. or Master's degree in the relevant scientific disciplines, or who fall outside the 45-56 age bracket (without exceptional merit), would not be suitable. The role demands significant contributions to technology development and IP creation, making it unsuitable for candidates whose experience is primarily theoretical or lacks translational impact.
