Directorate of Sports & Youth Welfare, Assam KISCE Recruitment 2026: 02 Head Coaches (Boxing & Weightlifting) Vacancies

This role is ideal for highly experienced and qualified sports coaches with a strong background in Boxing or Weightlifting. Candidates must possess a formal coaching diploma (SAI/NSNIS or equivalent), a mandatory certificate course from a relevant federation, and at least 10 years of coaching experience. Preference will be given to those who have represented India at high-level international competitions (Olympics, World Cup) or have a proven track record of coaching national/international teams and producing medalists. Existing Central/State Government, PSU, or Sports Authority of India employees are also encouraged to apply for deputation.

Individuals lacking a formal coaching diploma, the specified certificate course, or who do not meet the minimum 10 years of relevant coaching experience should not apply. Those without a strong background in national or international sports representation, either as an athlete or a coach of high-achieving athletes, may find it difficult to meet the stringent eligibility criteria. As this is a contractual and temporary position, candidates seeking permanent government employment may find it unsuitable.
