Eligibility Criteria

Educational Qualification

  • Candidates must possess an MBBS degree from any Medical Council of India (MCI) recognized institute, along with a one-year compulsory internship.
  • Applicants must be registered under the West Bengal Medical Council.
  • Weightage will be provided for higher qualifications during the scoring process.
  • The total scoring for qualifications includes: MBBS (80 marks based on % of marks in final exam), PG Degree (10 marks), and PG Diploma (5 marks).

The upper age limit for candidates is 67 years as on 1st January 2025.

Salary & Pay Scale

The monthly consolidated remuneration for the Medical Officer post is Rs.60,000/- (Rupees Sixty Thousand Only).
