Best-Fit Profile
This opportunity is ideal for medical professionals, including Specialists, Senior Residents, and Junior Residents, who possess relevant PG degrees, diplomas, or MBBS with experience. Candidates seeking contractual engagement within a Central Government hospital environment and are prepared for a walk-in interview in Bikaner, Rajasthan, would find this role suitable. Those looking to gain experience in a public health setting or contribute to ESIC's healthcare services for specific periods (from 44 days up to 3 years) are well-suited.
Important Considerations
This role is not suitable for individuals seeking permanent government employment, as all positions are purely contractual. Candidates unwilling to serve in Bikaner, Rajasthan, or those not registered with the Medical Council of India/State Medical Council should not apply. Additionally, Senior Residents will not be provided with hostel accommodation, which could be a dealbreaker for some. Those unable to attend the walk-in interview on 26/05/2026 with all required documents will not be considered.
Career Impact
Working with ESIC, an institution under the Ministry of Labour & Employment, Government of India, offers valuable experience and adds significant weight to a medical professional's CV. While the roles are contractual, they provide exposure to a government healthcare system and contribute to public service. These positions can be excellent stepping stones for further career progression in public health or specialized medical practice, though direct long-term growth within ESIC from these specific temporary engagements might be limited.
