Field Investigator

This role is ideal for recent graduates in Humanities or Social Sciences with a strong academic record (minimum 55% in UG) and a keen interest in ethnographic fieldwork. Candidates with prior fieldwork experience, proficiency in Bengali and Odia languages, strong translation/transcription skills, and basic computer literacy (Excel/Word) will be highly preferred. It suits individuals looking for short-term research experience in cultural studies.

Candidates seeking permanent government employment or roles with long-term stability should not apply, as this is a temporary, 5-month project-based position. Those without a background in humanities/social sciences or a strong interest in field research specific to Bengal and Odisha may find the role unsuitable.
