Forest Watcher

The pay scale for the Forest Watcher position is Rs. 23,000 - 50,200.

• Applicants must prepare an application on plain white paper, either handwritten or typed, using the provided model format.
• The application should be sent to the District Officer, Kerala Public Service Commission District Office, Wayanad.
• The top of the envelope must clearly state the name of the post applied for, the department name, and the category number.
• The applicant's name and address should be written on the left side of the envelope, and the address to which the application is to be sent should be written on the right side.

As per G.O (MS) No: 80/13/Forest dated 23.08.2013, the following documents must be submitted along with the application:

• Certificate proving date of birth/age.
• Certificate from Revenue authorities proving tribal status.
• Certificate from Range Forest Officer / Tribal Extension Officer proving permanent residency in a tribal settlement.
• Certificate from Range Forest Officer or a higher official if currently serving or previously served as a temporary watcher in the Forest Department.
• Certificate from Range Forest Officer or a higher official if the applicant is the son of an unmarried mother.

Applications addressed to any authority other than the District Officer, Kerala Public Service Commission District Office, Wayanad, will be rejected.
