Best-Fit Profile
This role is ideal for medical professionals holding an MBBS degree, who have completed their compulsory rotating internship and possess valid registration with the NMC/MCI/State Medical Council. Candidates seeking a contractual position in a prestigious central government super-specialty hospital and research center will find this opportunity suitable. Preference is given to those with three or more years of post-MBBS experience.
Important Considerations
Individuals seeking permanent government employment with full benefits and allowances will find this contractual role restrictive, as it offers a fixed remuneration without additional perks. Those without the mandatory MBBS qualification, completion of internship, or valid medical council registration should not apply. The maximum age limit of 70 years makes this role unsuitable for candidates exceeding this age.
Career Impact
Working as a Medical Officer at BMHRC, an institution under the Indian Council of Medical Research (ICMR) and the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, offers significant professional prestige and valuable experience. This role provides exposure to a super-specialty hospital environment, enhancing clinical skills and networking opportunities within a premier central government medical research body. While contractual, it can serve as a strong stepping stone for future career progression in the healthcare sector, particularly within government or research institutions.
