Age Limit Details
The maximum age limit for the post is 35 years. The prescribed age limit may be relaxed in the case of exceptionally meritorious candidates, based on their CVs/experience, with the approval of the DG, ICMR. Standard age relaxation for reserved categories applies as per Government of India instructions.
Salary & Pay Scale
The post of Scientist-B (Medical) is in Pay Level - 10 with a pay scale of Rs. 56,100 to Rs. 1,77,500. Other allowances will be applicable as per government rules.

- General/OBC Candidates: Rs. 1500/-
- SC/ST/Women/PWD/EWS Candidates: Exempted from application fee.
