Eligibility Criteria
Educational Qualification
- Essential: MBBS Degree or an equivalent qualification recognized under any of the Schedules to the Indian Medical Council Act, 1956. The candidate must be registered in a State Medical Register or the Indian Medical Register.
- Desirable: A Post Graduate Qualification, preferably an MD in General Medicine or an equivalent qualification, along with registration in a State or Indian Medical Register.
- Candidates must have completed the compulsory Rotating Internship Certificate.
Age Limit Details
The candidate's age must not exceed 60 years as on the last date of application submission (27.11.2025). Age relaxation, if any, is admissible as per Central Government rules.
Salary & Pay Scale
The selected candidate will receive a consolidated monthly pay of Rs. 70,000, which is all-inclusive.

Application Fee
Application fees are as follows:
- UR, EWS, and OBC (NCL): Rs. 1000/-
- SC, ST, and PWD: Rs. 500/-
The fee must be paid to the specified bank account of IIEST, Shibpur as detailed in the notification.
