The selection process consists of an online test (Preliminary & Main exam) and a test of specified opted local language.
Phase-I: Preliminary Examination
Online Preliminary Exam consists of Objective Tests for 100 marks, with a duration of 1 hour. It comprises 3 sections:

There will be negative marks (1/4th of the mark assigned for the question) for wrong answers. No minimum qualifying marks are prescribed for individual tests or aggregate scores.
Phase-II: Main Examination

Negative marks (1/4th of the mark assigned for the question) apply for wrong answers. Candidates are required to score minimum percentage marks on aggregate as decided by the Bank.
Phase III: Local Language Proficiency Test (LLPT)
Provisionally selected candidates who have not studied the specified local language of the State in class 10th or 12th will undergo an LLPT. Failure to qualify will result in disqualification. The test pattern is:
