Best-Fit Profile
This role is ideal for recent graduates (or those with 1-2 years of experience) in agricultural and allied sciences who possess strong field monitoring skills, proficiency in MS Office, and local language expertise. Candidates should be physically fit, willing to travel extensively within Mizoram and other parts of India, and committed to rural development projects under a contractual framework.
Important Considerations
Individuals seeking permanent government employment should not apply, as this is a contract-based position with no claim for regular absorption. Those unwilling to travel to remote, rugged sites or lacking proficiency in the local State language will find this role unsuitable. Candidates without a graduate background in agriculture, horticulture, forestry, or related fields will not meet the essential educational qualifications.
Career Impact
NABCONS, as a wholly owned subsidiary of NABARD, offers a credible platform for individuals passionate about rural and agricultural development. While a contract position, it provides valuable experience in a reputable public sector environment, offering potential for skill development in project monitoring and data management. Long-term career progression within NABCONS for contract roles is subject to project requirements and satisfactory performance reviews.
