Eligibility Criteria
Educational Qualification
- A 4-year B.S. programme, Integrated B.S.-M.S., M.Sc., B.E., B.Tech. or an equivalent degree is required.
- Candidates must have secured at least 55% marks (50% for SC/ST/Divyangjan (PWD) candidates).
- Passing of NET-LS/GATE test is mandatory.
Age Limit Details
- Upper age limit relaxable up to 5 years for Schedule Castes (SC), Schedule Tribes (ST), Divyangjan (PWD) and female applicants.
- Upper age limit relaxable up to 3 years for Other Backward Classes (OBC - Non-Creamy Layer) candidates.
Salary & Pay Scale
The fellowship for Junior Research Fellow (JRF) is Rs. 37,000/- per month plus House Rent Allowance (HRA).
