Educational Qualification

Essential Qualifications:

B.Tech/M.Tech/M.Sc in Mechanical Engineering, Thermal Engineering, Automobile Engineering, Production Engineering, Manufacturing, Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Materials Engineering, Materials Science/Metallurgical Engineering, or Physics from a recognized university or equivalent with a first-class degree.

Desired Qualifications:

Hands-on experience in heat transfer/thermal management, Ansys fluent, COMSOL Multiphysics simulation, phase change material, and EV battery thermal management.
Good technical writing skills.
Ability to work both independently and collaboratively.

Age Limit Details

The upper age limit is relaxable up to 5 years for candidates belonging to Scheduled Castes/Tribes/OBC, women, and persons with disabilities.

Salary & Pay Scale

Emoluments for Junior Research Fellow:

For candidates selected through National Eligibility Test (GATE or CSIR UGC NET):
- 1st and 2nd Year: Rs. 37,000 + HRA
- 3rd Year (upon successful assessment and upgradation to SRF): Rs. 42,000 + HRA
For candidates without National Eligibility Test (GATE or CSIR UGC NET):
- 1st and 2nd Year: Rs. 30,000 + HRA
- 3rd Year (upon successful assessment and upgradation to SRF): Rs. 33,000 + HRA
