Eligibility Criteria

Educational Qualification

Master of Science (Physics/Applied Physics or equivalent) with a valid NET/GATE score.
OR M.Tech. (Applied Physics or equivalent).
OR M.Tech. (Metallurgy/Materials Engg./Material Science).
A minimum of 55% marks at the Master's level from a reputed University/Institution in India is required.
First class at the Bachelor's level is mandatory.

Age Limit Details

Relaxation of up to 5 years for SC/ST candidates and 3 years for OBC candidates.

Salary & Pay Scale

The fellowship amount is Rs 31,000/- per month as per the norms.
