Junior Research Fellow

This role is ideal for M.Sc. (Analytical/Biochemistry) or M. Pharma graduates with a First Class degree who have successfully qualified GATE/GPAT/CSIR-NET or an equivalent examination. Candidates with a strong interest in Biodiversity & Palaeobiology research, particularly those with a passion for plant and diatom studies and some prior experience in handling laboratory instruments (HPLC, HPTLC, spectrophotometer, etc.) or herbarium preparation, would find this temporary position highly suitable for gaining valuable research exposure.

Individuals seeking permanent government employment should not apply as this is a temporary and contractual position. Candidates who do not meet the essential academic qualifications, including the mandatory First Class postgraduate degree and a qualifying national-level examination (GATE/GPAT/CSIR-NET or equivalent), will not be considered. Those without a genuine interest in research in Biodiversity & Palaeobiology or specific laboratory techniques should also look elsewhere.
