Junior Research Fellow

This role is ideal for highly motivated and academically strong candidates holding a B.Tech/B.E. and M.Tech/M.E. (or equivalent) in Metallurgical, Materials, or Mechanical Engineering, or an M.Sc. (Materials Science) with an M.Tech. in a relevant field. Candidates with a strong academic record (60% aggregate/6.5 CGPA for general/OBC, 55% aggregate/6.0 CGPA for SC/ST/PwD) and a keen interest in advanced research on laser additive manufacturing processes are well-suited. Prior research experience, especially with characterization techniques like SEM/TEM/XRD, and qualifying in national-level exams (GATE/UGC/CSIR/INSPIRE/NET) are highly advantageous. This position also offers an excellent pathway for those aspiring to pursue a Ph.D. at NIT Warangal.

Candidates without the specified engineering or materials science postgraduate degrees (M.Tech/M.E. or equivalent combination with B.Tech/B.E. or M.Sc.), or those who do not meet the minimum aggregate marks/CGPA criteria, should not apply.
