Junior Research Fellow & Project Associate I

• Junior Research Fellow (JRF):
  • B.E./B.Tech. with First class in Electrical Engineering (EE), Electrical and Electronics Engineering (EEE), Electrical and Computers Engineering, or Electrical and Instrumentation Engineering (EIE) with a valid GATE score.
  • Preference: M.E./M.Tech. in Power Electronics, Power Electronics and Drives, or an equivalent degree (First class i.e., 60% or 6.5 CGPA) from a recognized University/Institute.
• Project Associate – I:
  • B.E./B.Tech. with First class in Electrical Engineering (EE), Electrical and Electronics Engineering (EEE), Electrical and Computers Engineering, or Electrical and Instrumentation Engineering (EIE).
  • Preference: M.E./M.Tech. in Power Electronics, Power Electronics and Drives, or an equivalent master's degree (First class i.e., 60% or 6.5 CGPA) from a recognized University/Institute.

• Upper age limit is 32 years as on the closing date of advertisement.
• Age relaxation for SC/ST candidates is 5 years.
• Age relaxation for OBC candidates is 3 years.

Interested candidates should submit their applications by 07 August 2026. The application process involves the following steps:

• Download and fill the prescribed application format (Form 8 attached with the advertisement, also available online on institute website www.nitt.edu).
• Scan the duly filled application along with relevant supporting documents (copies of degree certificates, mark sheets, GATE score card, proofs for age, category, and NOC if applicable) as a single PDF document.

• Additionally, applicants are requested to fill out the Google Form available at https://forms.gle/r2Y4r2sLGiCz26Zb6.

Only shortlisted candidates will be intimated by email and called for an interview in OFFLINE MODE. Original documents will be verified during the interview.
