Junior Resident Doctor

The pay scale for Junior Resident Doctors is Level 10 of the Pay Matrix, with an entry pay of Rs. 56,100/-. This includes Non-Practicing Allowance (NPA) and other allowances as admissible under rules.

Aspiring applicants must submit their applications in the prescribed proforma (Annexure-I) along with scanned self-attested copies of the following certificates via email to [email protected].

• Two recent passport size photographs.
• Certificate of Date of Birth (10th pass certificate).
• EWS/SC/ST/OBC (Non-Creamy Layer) certificate from the competent authority, if applicable.
• MBBS passed Certificate and Marksheets.
• MBBS Attempt certificate.
• MBBS Internship Completion Certificate.
• Medical Registration Certificate for MBBS.
• NOC from the present employer (if employed).
• MCI/NMC Eligibility certificate for candidates with foreign medical qualifications.
• Result of screening test for Indian nationals with Foreign Medical Qualifications issued by the National Board of Examinations.

The documents submitted by candidates will be screened before the interview. Only eligible candidates who fulfill the eligibility criteria would be allowed to appear in the interview, the date of which will be published on the Institute's website. Candidates should bring the original documents at the time of interview at the Institute.

Important: The crucial date for determination of eligibility (with regard to age, educational qualification, and experience) is the last date of submission of applications, i.e., 18.08.2026, upto 5:30 p.m.

Reservation for Persons with Benchmark Disabilities: 2 (two) posts are reserved for Persons with Benchmark Disabilities (PwBD) in the non-surgical departments as per Government of India policy. Criteria for PwBD includes Blindness and low vision; Deaf and hard of hearing; Locomotor disability (including cerebral palsy, leprosy cured, dwarfism, acid attack victims and muscular dystrophy); Autism, intellectual disability, specific learning disability and mental illness; Multiple disabilities from amongst persons under clauses (a) to (d) including deaf-blindness. The disability certificate must be issued by a duly constituted and authorized Medical Board of the State or Central Government Hospital/Institutions and countersigned by Medical Superintendent/CMO/Head of Hospital/Institution.
