• For 85% of Posts: B.Sc (Agriculture) / B.Sc (Hons) Agriculture.
• For 15% of Posts: B.Tech (Food Science and Technology) / B.Tech (Food Technology) / B.Sc (Agricultural Marketing and Cooperation) / B.Sc (Hons) Agricultural Marketing and Cooperation / B.Sc (Hons) Agri Business Management / B.Sc (Agricultural Biotechnology) / B.Tech (Biotechnology) / B.Sc (Agricultural Engineering) / B.Tech (Agricultural Engineering).

Candidates must possess all required marks sheets/degrees by the last date of application. Degrees obtained through correspondence or distance education are not considered valid.

• General Merit: Not exceeding 40 years
• Category 2A, 2B, 3A, 3B: Not exceeding 43 years
• SC, ST, Category-1: Not exceeding 45 years
• Ex-servicemen: Service rendered plus 3 years relaxation (as per government rules)
• Persons with Disabilities: 10 years relaxation
• Widows: 10 years relaxation (subject to not re-marrying)
• Village Group Supervisors (working or formerly worked under Rural Employment Scheme): Years of service rendered or 10 years, whichever is less.
• National Cadet Corps (NCC) Cadre Supervisors: Years of service rendered.
• Bonded Laborers: 10 years relaxation.

The maximum age limit includes a one-time 5-year relaxation as per Government Order No: CIASUI 262 SENENI 2025 dated 29.01.2026.
