Candidates must possess a minimum of 6 years of post-qualification experience specifically in defense vessel systems (weapon machinery, communication, sensor, combat management) within the Indian Navy/Coast Guard or relevant shipbuilding/repair/engineering companies. Former Indian Navy (not below Lt. Commander) or Indian Coast Guard (not below Deputy Commandant) personnel are particularly well-suited. Preference is given to those with business development and contract management experience in shipyards, or working knowledge of marine regulatory bodies.
