Dr. B. R. Ambedkar University Delhi is a State University established by the Dr. B. R. Ambedkar University Delhi Act, 2007, under the Legislature of the National Capital Territory of Delhi. Its core objective is to promote the study of humanities and social sciences, recognizing their pivotal role in understanding and shaping a society in transition. The University aims to reconceptualize social sciences through innovative curriculum and pedagogic processes.

The University currently offers undergraduate, postgraduate, and research degree programmes across its four campuses located in Delhi, at Kashmere Gate, Karampura, Lodhi Colony & Qutub Institutional Area.

Eligibility Criteria

Educational Qualification

Medical Officer: M.D. in Medicine with 2 years' post-doctoral experience OR M.B.B.S. (55% marks) with compulsory internship and 5 years' post-degree experience.
Section Officer: Post Graduate Degree (50% marks) with 3 years' relevant experience OR Graduate (50% marks) with 5 years' relevant experience. For Finance & Accounts: PG in Commerce/Inter CA/ICWAI/MBA (Finance) OR Graduate in Commerce/other subjects with Inter CA/ICWAI/BBA (Finance). For Secretarial Assistant: Working knowledge of English Shorthand.
Security Officer: Graduate qualification.
Staff Nurse: B. Sc. (Hons.) in Nursing and registered as Nurse/Midwife with 6 months' experience in a minimum fifty bedded hospital.
Sr. Assistant: Bachelor's Degree with at least 5 years of relevant experience. For Finance & Accounts: Any Graduate/Post Graduate in Commerce/Inter CA/ICWAI/BBA/MBA (Finance) with at least 50% marks. For Secretarial Services: Graduate/Post Graduate (50% marks) with 3 years' experience in office management.
Security Supervisor: Bachelor's degree.
Sports Coach: Bachelors/Master's degree in Physical Education OR a Diploma in Sports Coaching.
Studio Assistant: 10+2 or equivalent.
Assistant (General)/ Assistant cum Caretaker/ Documentation Assistant/ Assistant (Secretarial Services): Graduate with 3 years of relevant experience OR ITI Trade Certificate in Civil/Plumbing/Electrical with 3 years' caretaking experience OR 6 years' experience in caretaking services.

Age Limit Details

Medical Officer, Section Officer, Sr. Assistant, Sports Coach, Studio Assistant: Not exceeding 35 years.
Staff Nurse, Assistant: Not exceeding 30 years.
Security Officer, Security Supervisor: Not exceeding 50 years.
Age limits are reckoned as on the closing date of application. Age relaxation will be admissible as per University rules/Government Orders for reserved categories.

Application Fee

Rs. 1,000/-: For the post of Medical Officer.
Rs. 500/-: For the posts of Section Officer, Security Officer, Staff Nurse, Senior Assistant, Security Supervisor.
Rs. 300/-: For the posts of Sports Coach, Studio Assistant & Assistant (General)/ Assistant cum Caretaker/ Documentation Assistant / Assistant (Secretarial Services).
Exemptions: All Women applicants and applicants belonging to Scheduled Caste, Scheduled Tribe, and Persons with Benchmark Disabilities (PwBD) are exempted from paying application fee as per Government orders.
