Senior Consultant Community Based Disaster Risk Reduction

This role is ideally suited for highly experienced professionals with a Master's or PG Diploma in Social Science, Science, or Disaster Management, who possess a minimum of 5 years of relevant work experience in Community-Based Disaster Risk Reduction (CBDRR). Retired government servants with 5 years of experience in Scale 11 are also encouraged to apply. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong leadership, communication, and strategic advisory skills, eager to contribute significantly to national disaster management policy and implementation within a central government apex body.

Individuals lacking the stipulated educational qualifications or the mandatory 5 years of experience in CBDRR should not apply. Those primarily seeking permanent government employment will find this contractual, fixed-term position unsuitable. Applicants who are unable to commit to a full-time, exclusive engagement without undertaking other assignments are also not a fit. The maximum age limit of 50 years (62 for retired government officials) is a firm criterion.
