National Medical Library Recruitment 2026: 01 Vacancy for Library and Information Assistant

This role is ideally suited for experienced government employees, specifically those from Central or State Government, PSUs, Universities, or recognized research/educational institutions. Candidates should possess a Bachelor's degree in Library Science or Library and Information Science, along with at least two years of professional library experience. A strong candidate will also have six years of regular service in a Level-5 pay matrix within their parent cadre, and be able to secure all necessary departmental clearances and certificates for deputation.

Individuals who lack prior government service, do not hold the required Bachelor's degree in Library/Information Science, or cannot demonstrate two years of relevant professional experience should not apply. Freshers or candidates from the private sector are ineligible, as are those unable to obtain departmental vigilance clearance, integrity certificates, and APARs.
