NID MP Senior Library Assistant Recruitment 2026 (1 Post)

The post is offered at Pay Level - 5 of the Pay Matrix of the 7th Central Pay Commission (CPC).

The selection process includes a written examination and a skill test.

Comprises descriptive/objective type questions with 1 mark for each correct answer and a negative marking of 0.25 marks for each wrong answer. Unattempted questions receive zero marks.

• English: 10 MCQs of 1 mark each
• General Awareness: 10 MCQs of 1 mark each
• Quantitative Aptitude: 10 MCQs of 1 mark each
• Job Profile/Subject Related: 70 MCQs of 1 mark each based on the notified syllabus.

This is a computer-based skill test to assess drafting, conceptualizing, and domain-specific knowledge and skills. It is qualifying in nature, requiring a minimum overall score of 45%.

Interested candidates must follow these steps to apply:

• Download the application proforma available on the NID MP website (www.nidmp.ac.in).
• Fill up the application form completely.
• Attach self-attested copies of all educational qualifications, experience certificates, salary certificates, Vigilance Clearance (if applicable), and identity proof.
• Paste a recent passport-size photograph on the application form and sign it.
• Send the filled application form and required documents in a sealed envelope.
• The envelope must be super scribed as "APPLICATION FOR THE POST OF SENIOR LIBRARY ASSISTANT".
• Applications must be sent by Registered Post/Speed Post only to:

• The last date for receipt of hard copies of applications is 30.09.2026. Applications received by any other mode will not be accepted.

• For UR, EWS, OBC (Non-creamy layer) candidates: A non-refundable application fee of ₹500/-.
• Payment method: Demand Draft from any scheduled bank in favor of “National Institute of Design Madhya Pradesh” payable at Bhopal.
• Exemptions: SC, ST, PwD, Ex-Servicemen, and Women candidates are exempted from paying the application fees.
