NIT Raipur Recruitment 2026 – Apply for Project Technical Assistant Post

Eligibility criteria for Project Technical Assistant at NIT Raipur (Department of Mechanical Engineering, sponsored by WARPP Engineers Pvt Ltd):
• Educational Qualification: 12th pass with at least 2 years of work experience in welding trade; OR ITI (2-years course) in an appropriate trade; OR 3 years Diploma in Engineering in the appropriate discipline; OR Person with proven experience of at least 5 years.
• Desirable Skills: Strong practical knowledge and hands-on experience in TIG (GTAW) and MIG (GMAW) welding operations and materials characterization. A practical welding skill test may be conducted during the selection process.
• Tenure: Initially for 6 months, extendable up to 1.5 years (total project duration) based on performance.

Upper age limit is 40 years as on the date of application. Standard government relaxations apply for reserved categories as per GoI norms.
