- For PGTs: Candidates must hold a Post Graduate degree in the concerned subject with at least 50% marks in aggregate, along with a B.Ed from a recognized university with NCTE affiliation. OSSTET/CTET qualification is also required.
- For TGTs: Candidates must possess a Graduate degree in the concerned subject/combination of subjects with at least 50% marks in aggregate, along with a B.Ed from a recognized university with NCTE affiliation. OSSTET/CTET qualification is also required.
Special Provisions/Relaxations (for Hard/Very Hard stations if B.Ed/CTET qualified candidates are unavailable):
- B.Ed Relaxation: PGT candidates may be considered with a Post Graduate degree having 60% marks in Science subjects or 55% in Humanities. TGT candidates may be considered with a B.Sc. with 60% marks or a B.A. with 55% marks.
- CTET/OSSTET Relaxation: Candidates without CTET/OSSTET qualification may be considered if they meet other eligibility criteria.
