This role is most suitable for Ex-Armed Forces Commissioned Officers (male/female) between 18 and 42 years old, holding a graduate degree, who are gainfully employed in civilian life but wish to continue serving the nation on a part-time basis. It is ideal for those seeking a prestigious secondary career with mandatory annual training commitments (two months annually).

Individuals who are not ex-commissioned officers, are currently serving in regular forces/police/paramilitary, or are seeking a full-time career should not apply. Civilians without prior commissioned service are ineligible. Those seeking immediate pensionary benefits may find the conditions (minimum 4 years aggregate embodied service for gratuity) not aligning with their expectations.
