Project Associate I

This role is ideal for fresh Postgraduates (MS/M.Sc) in Earth Science, Geophysics, or related fields who are looking for a short-term, project-based research opportunity at a premier national institute. Candidates with prior seismology experience would be preferred. It suits individuals eager to gain practical experience in seismological data processing and modelling within a focused research project.

This position is not suitable for candidates seeking permanent government employment, as it is strictly temporary and contractual for an initial period of six months. Those unwilling to work under project-specific terms or looking for a long-term career path directly within IISER Pune should not apply. Individuals without a relevant Master's degree will also not be considered.
