The Project Management Unit (PMU) at IIITDM Kurnool, established by the Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology (MeitY), Government of India, is responsible for managing the "Capacity Building for Human Resource Development in Unmanned Aircraft System (Drone and related Technology)" project. This PMU, set up in collaboration with C-DAC Hyderabad, monitors, supports, and ensures the implementation of various activities including formal programmes, knowledge creation, dissemination through workshops/conferences, national competitions, and fund management across 30 Institutions/Centres. The project has a tenure of 5 years, starting from September 2022.
