• Type: Conventional type in Pen & Paper Mode.
• Maximum Marks: 150
• Duration: 2 Hours (120 minutes)
• Minimum Qualifying Marks: 50 Marks out of 150 Marks.
• Sections:
  • Section A: Essay Writing in English (approx. 200 words) - 30 marks (Emphasis on Constitutional Accuracy, Conceptual clarity, Relevance to Topic, logical structure, flow, language proficiency, expression).
  • Section B: Precis Writing in English - 30 marks (Emphasis on identification of core ideas, conciseness, proportional reduction, language clarity, grammar, suitable title).
  • Section C (i): Translation from English to Hindi - 25 marks (Emphasis on accuracy of meaning, terminology, formal tone, grammar, sentence structure).
  • Section C (ii): Translation from Hindi to English - 25 marks (Emphasis on accuracy of meaning, terminology, formal tone, grammar, sentence structure).
  • Section D: Comprehension in English - 40 marks (Emphasis on accuracy of responses, analytical understanding, clarity of expression).

• Type: Computer Based Module (CBT).
• Maximum Marks: 50
• Duration: 20 minutes
• Negative Marking: No negative marking.
• Minimum Qualifying Marks: 25 Marks out of 50 Marks.
• Candidates will be given a text of approximately 500 words in English to reproduce on the computer within 20 minutes.
• Marking Scheme (Mistake Deduction): 0.1 marks deducted for every 01 mistake. Left-out words, spelling mistakes, typing of incorrect content, or exceeding word limits are treated as full mistakes.

Note: Seven times the number of candidates against total vacancies in each category for each post will be called for Stage-II and Stage-III Examination based on Stage-I marks. Stage-II and Stage-III Examinations for a single candidate will be conducted simultaneously in a single shift with a 20-minute gap. The Final Merit List will be based on aggregate marks from Stage-II and Stage-III Examinations.

• Step-1: Register Online
  Candidates must register online on the official websites https://exams.nta.nic.in/allhcre or https://www.allahabadhighcourt.in. Generate and note down the system-generated Registration Number/Application Number.
• Step-2: Fill Application Form
  Complete the Online Application Form with all required personal and educational details. Ensure accuracy as only limited fields will be allowed for correction later.
• Step-3: Upload Scanned Images
  Upload legible scanned images of:
  
  • A recent colored passport photograph (10 KB-200 KB) with applicant's name and date of capturing, covering 80% face without mask, against a white background.
  • Left hand thumb impression (10 KB-200 KB).
  • Signature (10 KB-100 KB) in running handwriting.
  • Category Certificate (where applicable, 50 KB-300 KB).
  • 10th or equivalent Certificate as proof of Date of Birth (50 KB-300 KB).
  • Employment Certificate (optional, 50 KB-300 KB).
• Step-4: Pay Application Fee
  Pay the prescribed application fee online through Net Banking, Debit Card, Credit Card, or UPI. Keep proof of fee payment for future reference. The Confirmation Page will be generated only after successful payment.
• Only one application is to be submitted per candidate. Multiple applications will result in the last submitted form being considered and previous fees not being refunded.
• Candidates are advised to fill the form well in advance to avoid last-minute technical issues.

Note: Applicable service/processing charges and Goods & Services Tax (GST) over and above the Application Fee are payable by the candidate to the Bank concerned. The fee is payable through Net Banking, Debit Card, Credit Card, or UPI. Fees once deposited are non-refundable.
