Eligibility Criteria

Educational Qualification

For Scientist C (Med.): Post Graduate degree (MD/MS/DNB) with 1 year R&D/teaching experience OR Post graduate diploma in medical subjects with 2 years R&D/teaching experience OR MBBS with 4 years R&D/teaching experience OR BDS/B.V.Sc & AH with 5 years R&D/teaching experience.
For Scientist B (Non-Med.): BE/B.Tech degree in relevant engineering subject with 2 years experience OR 1st class Master's degree in relevant subject OR 2nd class M.Sc. + Ph.D degree in relevant subject.
MD/MS/MDS degrees are treated equivalent to three years' experience, and a Post Graduate diploma in medical subjects is equivalent to two years' experience for Scientist C.
A PhD degree in relevant subjects is treated equivalent to three years' experience for Scientist B.

Age Limit Details

Upper age limit for Scientist C (Med.) is 40 years. Upper age limit for Scientist B (Non Med.) is 35 years.

Salary & Pay Scale

Scientist B (Non Med.)	56000 + HRA

HRA will be admissible as per the classification of the city where the lab is located. An increment rate of 5% will be applied after every 02 years as per DST norms. Salary is consolidated without other allowances, unless admissible by the funding agency.
