Eligibility Criteria
Educational Qualification
- General Requirement: A medical qualification included in the first or second schedule or Part II of the third schedule of the Indian Medical Council Act 1956.
- Candidates must be registered with the Central/State Medical and Dental Council.
- A postgraduate degree (MD/MS/DNB/MDS) in the specialty concerned or its equivalent from a recognized University/Institute as per MCI rules.
- Specific Specialty Qualifications:
- Cardiology, Clinical Immunology, Endocrinology, Medical Gastroenterologist, Medical Oncology, Nephrology: MD in Medicine.
- Burns & Plastic Surgery: MS in General Surgery and Allied, ENT.
- CTVS, Neurosurgery, Paediatrics Surgery, Surgical Gastroenterology, Surgical Oncology, Urology: MS in General Surgery and allied.
- Neonatology: MD in Paediatrics.
- Trauma & Emergency: MD in Medicine, MS in General Surgery & Allied and Orthopaedics.
- Pulmonary Medicine: MD in Chest and TB or MD in Medicine.
Age Limit Details
- Upper age limit shall be determined as on the last date of submission of online applications.
- Date of Birth as recorded in Matriculation/Secondary Examination Certificate will be accepted.
- Permissible relaxation of upper age limit as per Government orders shall be allowed upon submission of documentary proof.
- No age relaxation would be available to reserved category candidates applying for unreserved vacancies.
Salary & Pay Scale
Selected candidates will be placed in Level-11 of the pay matrix with a minimum basic pay of Rs. 67,700/-, plus Non-Practicing Allowance (NPA) and other admissible allowances as applicable to Government of India employees stationed at Bilaspur, Himachal Pradesh.

How to Apply
- Aspirant applicants satisfying the eligibility criteria must apply for the post of Senior Resident by filling out and uploading the application form through the Google Form link: https://forms.gle/pLKqxb8L97TaXg6F6.
- The last date for submission of the online application form and fee is March 10, 2024, up to 12:00 Noon.
- Candidates must appear physically for the walk-in interview. No online interviews will be entertained.
- The duly filled and signed original application form, along with one set of self-attested photocopies of Degrees, Certificates, Mark sheets, Age proof, Caste certificates, PwBD certificate (if applicable), etc., must be produced at the time of interview. Original documents will be verified.
- Applicants working in Central/State Government/Semi-Government/Autonomous Institutions must submit a “NO OBJECTION CERTIFICATE” (NOC) at the time of interview.
- Candidates must report at AIIMS Bilaspur, 3rd Floor, Administrative Block, Kothipura, Himachal Pradesh-174037 as per the schedule below:

Application Fee
- Persons with Benchmark Disabilities (PwBD): Exempted from payment of fee.
- SC/ST category: Rs. 500 + GST (18%) = Rs. 590
- Other categories: Rs. 1000 + GST (18%) = Rs. 1180
- Application fees must be paid through NEFT to the bank account provided.
- The application fee is non-refundable.
