Educational Qualification

A medical qualification included in the First or Second Schedule or Part II of the Third Schedule of the Indian Medical Council Act 1956 is required.
Candidates must be registered with the Central/State Medical and Dental Council.
A Postgraduate Degree (MD/MS/DNB/MDS) in the concerned specialty or its equivalent from a recognized University/Institute, as per MCI rules, is essential.
Specific postgraduate qualifications are required for various departments, including MD in Medicine for specialties like Cardiology, Clinical Immunology, Endocrinology, Medical Gastroenterologist, Medical Oncology, and Nephrology; MS in General Surgery and Allied or ENT for Burns & Plastic Surgery; MS in General Surgery and allied for CTVS, Neurosurgery, Paediatrics Surgery, Surgical Gastroenterology, Surgical Oncology, and Urology; MD in Paediatrics for Neonatology; MD in Medicine, MS in General Surgery & Allied and Orthopaedics for Trauma & Emergency; and MD in Chest and TB or MD in Medicine for Pulmonary Medicine.

Age Limit Details

The upper age limit is 45 years as on the last date of online application submission (February 10, 2024). Permissible relaxation of the upper age limit will be allowed as per Government orders for reserved categories, subject to submission of documentary proof.

Salary & Pay Scale

The position of Senior Resident (Non-Academic) falls under Level-11 of the Pay Matrix, with a minimum basic pay of Rs. 67,700/-. This includes Non-Practicing Allowance (NPA) and other admissible allowances as applicable to Government of India employees stationed at Bilaspur, H.P.

Candidates will appear for a walk-in interview on February 13, 2024, at the Administrative Block, 3rd Floor, AIIMS-Bilaspur, Kothipura, Himachal Pradesh-174037.
At the time of interview, candidates must bring a duly filled and signed original application form along with one set of self-attested photocopies of all relevant documents (Degrees, Certificates, Mark sheets, Age proof, Caste certificates, PwBD certificate if applicable). All original documents must also be presented for verification.
Annexure-II: Proforma/Checklist for the post of Senior Resident must be filled and submitted during document verification before the interview.
Applicants working in Central/State Government/Semi-Government/Autonomous Institutions must submit a “NO OBJECTION CERTIFICATE” (NOC) from their employer at the time of interview.

SC/ST category: Rs. 500 + GST (18%) = Rs. 590/-
Other categories: Rs. 1000 + GST (18%) = Rs. 1180/-
