Educational Qualification
- Senior Technical Officer (Post Code: 001): B.E./B.Tech or MCA/M.Sc. with 11 years relevant experience; OR M.Tech. with 6 years' experience; OR Ph.D. with 3 years' experience. All require first class or equivalent grade (6.5 in 10-point scale) and consistently excellent academic record.
- Technical Officer (Post Code: 002): B.E./B.Tech/M.Sc. (in CSE/IT/EE/EEE/Electronics & Communication)/MCA with 5 years relevant experience; OR M.Tech. (in CSE/IT/EE/EEE/Electronics & Communication) with 1 year experience. All require first class or equivalent grade (6.5 in 10-point scale) and consistently excellent academic record.
Age Limit Details
- Upper Age Limit: 50 years for Senior Technical Officer and 40 years for Technical Officer.
- Age Relaxation: The upper age limit shall be relaxable up to fifty years of age for individuals who have rendered a minimum of three years' service/deployment at IIT Mandi on contract/outsourced/adhoc/temporary/projects and are educationally qualified.
- SC/ST candidates receive 5 years relaxation, and OBC (NCL) candidates receive 3 years. Relaxation for PwD candidates & Ex-servicemen is as per rules.

- Candidates must apply online through the official IIT Mandi website (https://www.iitmandi.ac.in) or directly via the application portal (https://iitmandint.samarth.edu.in/).
- Applicants are required to upload scanned copies of certificates supporting their essential qualifications, experience, pay drawn details, date of birth, disability, caste, and latest OBC (non-creamy layer)/EWS certificate (issued on or after April 1, 2024, for OBC/EWS).
- Original certificates must be produced during the selection process and at the time of joining.
- If applying for more than one position, a separate application, along with self-attested copies of certificates and the prescribed fee, must be submitted for each post.
- The eligibility criteria concerning qualification, experience, and age will be determined with reference to the application deadline (March 05, 2025).
