- For Arts, Humanities, Social Sciences, Sciences, Languages, Social Work, Library Science & Law:
- Master's degree with 55% marks (or equivalent grade) in a concerned/relevant/allied subject.
- National Eligibility Test (NET) conducted by UGC or CSIR, or a similar test (GSLET/GSET) is mandatory.
- Ph.D. Degree holders as per UGC Regulations, 2009 or 2016, or those registered before July 11, 2009 (under specific conditions), are exempted from NET/SLET/SET.
- For Pharmaceutical Science:
- Basic degree in pharmacy (B.Pharm.).
- Registration as a pharmacist under the Pharmacy Act, 1948.
- First Class Master's Degree in an appropriate branch of specialization in Pharmacy.
- Ph.D. degree in Pharmacy (Essential).
- Desirable: Teaching, research, industrial, and/or professional experience, and papers presented at conferences/journals.
- For Performing Arts:
- Master's Degree with 55% marks (or equivalent grade) in the relevant subject + NET/SLET/SET or Ph.D. OR
- A Bachelor's degree with highly commendable professional achievement as a traditional/professional artist, including study under noted Masters/Artists, 'A' grade artist of AIR/Doordarshan, ability to explain with logical reasoning, and adequate knowledge to teach theory.
- For Physical Education:
- Master's degree in physical education and sports or physical education with 55% (or equivalent grade) + record of representing university/college at inter-university/collegiate/state/national competitions + NET/SLET/SET or Ph.D. OR
- An Asian Game or Commonwealth Games medal winner with at least a Post-Graduation level degree.
- For Computer Science (as per AICTE & UGC Regulations):
- B.E. / B. Tech. and M.E. / M. Tech. / M. S. OR Integrated M. Tech. OR at least one degree at UG or PG level in relevant discipline with first class/equivalent. OR B.E./B. Tech. and MCA with First Class. OR Graduation (3 years) and MCA with First Class + 2 years of relevant professional experience (exempted for Ph.D. holders). OR Ph.D. in relevant/allied discipline with First Class in MCA or direct Ph.D. with First Class B.E./B.Tech.
- As per UGC, Master's Degree with 55% in Computer Applications/Science/Information Technology + NET/SLET/SET or Ph.D.
- For Management:
- Bachelor's degree in any discipline and Master's degree in Business Administration/C.A.IPGDM/ICWA/M.COM with First Class or equivalent.
- NET/SLET/SET or Ph.D. is required.
