Best-Fit Profile

This role is most suitable for Indian citizens who are native to the State of Andhra Pradesh and profess the Hindu religion. Ideal candidates will possess either a B.Sc. in Nursing or an Intermediate (10+2) qualification coupled with a three-year General Nursing Course and six months of Midwifery training. All applicants must be registered with the Andhra Pradesh Nursing Council. For those with a General Nursing qualification, a minimum of three years of experience in a Medical College/tertiary care hospital is mandatory. Candidates seeking a stable, permanent government position within a reputable medical institution under the Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams (TTD) in Andhra Pradesh, with a competitive pay scale, are well-suited.

Important Considerations

Individuals who are not native to the State of Andhra Pradesh are ineligible. A critical dealbreaker is that only persons professing the Hindu religion are eligible to apply. Those not registered with the Andhra Pradesh Nursing Council, or General Nursing diploma holders without the mandatory three years of experience, should not apply. Additionally, applicants unwilling to pay the prescribed application fees (unless exempted for PwBD) will have their applications rejected.

Career Impact

Working at Sri Venkateswara Institute of Medical Sciences (SVIMS), an institution under the esteemed Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams (TTD), offers significant institutional prestige and a stable career within the Andhra Pradesh state government sector. The Staff Nurse role is foundational to healthcare delivery, providing opportunities for professional development and service in a renowned medical facility. Long-term growth would typically involve progression within the state's medical services framework, benefiting from government benefits and job security.
