This role is ideally suited for compassionate and dedicated individuals with a strong academic background in social work, sociology, psychology, child development, or law (Postgraduate degree). Graduates in any discipline possessing a Diploma in Child Rights or Counseling, along with a minimum of three years of relevant work experience in child protection or related fields, are also well-suited. Preference will be given to those with prior experience in legal services authorities, child protection units, or child welfare committees. Crucially, candidates must be residents of Nalanda district and possess a clean criminal record and strong ethical conduct, demonstrating a commitment to safeguarding children's welfare on a case-by-case, temporary basis.

This opportunity is not suitable for individuals lacking the specific educational qualifications (Postgraduate in relevant fields or Graduate with a relevant Diploma) or the mandatory minimum of three years of work experience in child protection or related domains. Candidates seeking permanent, fixed-salary government employment may find the temporary, case-based remuneration structure (up to Rs. 9,000 per case) unattractive. Furthermore, applicants who are not residents of the Nalanda district are ineligible, as are those with any history of criminal involvement or moral misconduct.

While classified as a temporary and contractual empanelment for a two-year term, this role offers significant social prestige and impactful work within the government framework of child protection under the POCSO Act.
