WBSRLM Purba Bardhaman Community Auditors Recruitment 2026: 63 Vacancies

This role is ideally suited for highly motivated women who are active members of Self Help Groups (SHGs) under the NRLM, with at least two years of membership experience. Candidates should possess a strong foundational knowledge in bookkeeping and accounting, coupled with basic computer skills (MS Word, Excel, Internet). A minimum educational background of Higher Secondary with a commerce focus, or a degree in any stream, is required. The ideal applicant is physically fit, eager to learn new skills, and committed to working in rural areas within and potentially outside the district.

Individuals who are not active women SHG members with at least two years of experience under NRLM, or those who lack the required minimum age (25 years) or exceed the maximum age (40 years as on 01-01-2026) should not apply. Additionally, SHG members already engaged in paid work by government/government-sponsored organizations or non-government organizations, or those serving as Office Bearers/BOD members of Sangha Cooperatives or holding a PRI portfolio, are explicitly ineligible for this position.

This is a district-level contractual engagement under the West Bengal State Rural Livelihoods Mission (Anandadhara), offering a vital role in community auditing and rural development. While it provides an opportunity to serve at the grassroots level and contribute significantly to local economic empowerment, it is not a permanent government position. The prestige lies in its direct community impact and contribution to state-level rural welfare initiatives, rather than a high pay scale or rapid hierarchical growth.
