Eligibility Criteria
Educational Qualification
- For Senior Residents (Medical): A medical qualification (MBBS) and a postgraduate degree (MD/MS/DNB/MDS) in the concerned specialty from a recognized University/Institute. Must be registered with the Central/State Medical Council.
- For Non-Medical Candidates: A Master's degree (M.Sc.) or a Ph.D. in the concerned discipline/subject from a UGC recognized university.
Age Limit Details
The maximum age limit is 45 years as of the closing date, 20th November 2025. Age relaxation is permissible for various categories as follows:

Salary & Pay Scale
The post of Senior Resident is in Pay Level – 11 of the Pay Matrix as per 7th CPC. The entry pay is ₹67,700/- per month, plus NPA (for Medical Candidates only) and other usual allowances as admissible under the rules.
