Eligibility Criteria

Educational Qualification

Essential Qualifications:

Candidates must possess the following qualifications based on the department:

A postgraduate degree such as MD/MS/DNB in the relevant specialty as per MCI rules from a recognized university.
Must be registered with the Central or a State Medical Council.
Candidates must have a valid pass certificate as of the last date of application receipt.

For certain departments, candidates with specific qualifications may also apply as detailed below:

Cardiology, Clinical Immunology, Medical Gastroenterology, Medical Oncology and Nephrology	Post Graduate Medical Degree like, MD in Medicine.
Burns & Plastic Surgery	Post Graduate Medical Degree like, MS in General Surgery and Allied, ENT.
CTVS, Neurosurgery, Paediatrics Surgery, Surgical Gastroenterology, Surgical Oncology and Urology	Post Graduate Medical Degree like, MS in General Surgery and allied.
Neonatology	Post Graduate Medical Degree like, MD in Paediatrics.
Trauma & Emergency	Post Graduate Medical Degree like, MD in Medicine, MS in General Surgery & Allied and Orthopaedics.
Pulmonary Medicine	Post Graduate Medical Degree like, MD in Chest and TB or MD in Medicine.
Endocrinology	Post Graduate Medical Degree like, MD in Medicine & Pediatrics.

Eligibility for Medical / Non-Medical Candidates in Specific Departments:

Anatomy	For Medical Candidates: MD/DNB in Anatomy. For Non-Medical Candidates: M.Sc./M.Biotech in Anatomy AND Ph.D. in the subject.
Biochemistry	For Medical Candidates: MD/DNB in Biochemistry. For Non-Medical Candidates: M.Sc./M.Biotech in Biochemistry AND Ph.D. in the subject.
Pharmacology	For Medical Candidates: MD/DNB in Pharmacology OR DM (Clinical Pharmacology). For Non-Medical Candidates: M.Sc./M.Biotech in Pharmacology AND Ph.D. in the subject.

Age Limit Details

The upper age limit is 45 years as on the date of the interview. Permissible relaxation in the upper age limit will be provided as per Government of India rules for reserved categories, subject to the submission of documentary proof.

Salary & Pay Scale

For Medical Candidates (MD/MS/MCH): Level-11 in the pay matrix with a minimum of Rs. 67,700/- plus NPA and other admissible allowances.
For Non-Medical Candidates (M.Sc. with Ph.D.): Level-10 in the pay matrix with a minimum of Rs. 56,100/- plus admissible allowances. NPA is not applicable.

How to Apply

This is a walk-in interview, and candidates are not required to fill any online application form.

Interested and eligible candidates must report in person for the interview.
Venue: Recruitment Cell, 3rd Floor, Administrative Block, AIIMS Bilaspur, Kothipura, Himachal Pradesh-174037.
Date and Time: Report on 12th November 2025, on or before 10:30 AM. Candidates reporting after 10:30 AM will not be allowed.
Candidates must bring a duly filled and signed original application form (as per Annexure-II Proforma/Checklist).
Carry one set of self-attested photocopies and all original documents for verification. This includes Degrees, Certificates, Mark sheets, Age proof, Caste certificates, PwBD certificate (if applicable), etc.

Application Fee

General/Other Categories: Rs. 1000 + 18% GST = Rs. 1180/-
SC/ST Category: Rs. 500 + 18% GST = Rs. 590/-
Persons with Benchmark Disabilities (PwBD): Exempted from fee payment.

The fee must be paid via NEFT to the specified bank account. Proof of payment must be produced at the interview.
