Eligibility Criteria
Educational Qualification
- Candidates must possess a Post Graduate Degree such as MD/MS/DNB/DM/M.Ch or an equivalent qualification in the concerned department, recognized by the Medical Council of India / NMC/ NBE.
- For the Dentistry department, candidates must have an MDS in conservative & endodontics.
- For Clinical Haematology seats, candidates with an MD in General Medicine or Paediatrics will also be considered.
Age Limit Details
The upper age limit is 45 years. Age relaxation is permissible as per government rules:
- SC/ST: 5 years
- OBC: 3 years
- PWBD: 10 years
- Ex-Servicemen: 5 years
Salary & Pay Scale
The pay scale is Rs. 67,700/- as per the 7th CPC, Level 11 of the Matrix, plus Non-Practicing Allowance (NPA) and other usual allowances as admissible.

How to Apply
Candidates must appear for a 'Walk-in Interview' on the scheduled dates. The application process is as follows:
- Verify the date of the walk-in interview for your specific department from the official notification. The interviews are scheduled on 24.11.2025, 25.11.2025, and 26.11.2025.
- Report at 09:00 AM at the E-classroom, Administrative Building, AIIMS Patna on the designated date.
- Bring a Demand Draft for the application fee as specified.
- Carry all original documents along with one set of self-attested photocopies. Required documents include a recent passport-size photograph, Aadhar card, birth certificate, degree certificates, registration certificates, category certificates, and any experience certificates.
- Fill out the application form provided at the venue.
- The walk-in interview will commence from 10:00 AM onwards at the Committee Room, Administrative Building, AIIMS Patna.
Application Fee
- General/OBC Category: Rs. 1500/-
- SC/ST/EWS Category: Rs. 1200/-
- Ex-servicemen/Women/PwBD candidates: Exempted from fee.
The fee must be paid via Demand Draft drawn in favour of AIIMS, Patna, payable at AIIMS, Patna.
