Eligibility Criteria
Educational Qualification
- Medical Candidates: A recognized medical qualification included in Schedule I or II or Part II of the third schedule of the IMC Act of 1956. Post-graduate qualification (e.g., MD/MS) in the respective discipline. For surgical/medical superspecialities, M.Ch./D.M. (2, 3, or 5 years course) or equivalent is required.
- Non-Medical Candidates: Master’s degree in the concerned/allied discipline along with a Doctorate degree (Ph.D.) of a recognized university.
- Hospital Administration: Medical qualification under IMC Act, plus MD in Hospital Administration (or MCI recognized Master's in Hospital Administration/MHA).
Age Limit Details
- Assistant Professor & Associate Professor: Not exceeding 50 years.
- Professor & Additional Professor: Not exceeding 58 years.
- Relaxations: SC/ST: 5 years, OBC: 3 years, PwBD: 10 years, Government Servants: 5 years.
